[this just isn't right]

okay, i'm coming clean: i like harry potter. i own all six of the books in the series, and i have read all of them several times. before the release of each succeeding installation, i re-read all of the previous books, to refresh my recollection, and to build my own personal expectations. they get better each time. i have read the first book six times now,

for those who don't care to keep up with such details.

i also enjoy the movies, and have seen them all several times.

so sue me.

a good friend of mine and i went out to a bookstore at midnight to get our books at the last release. i bought a special "day of release" baseball-style cap honoring the release of one of the books. i'll be breaking it out again, in anticipation of the release of the seventh and final book.

there's a movie coming out a week before the book release date.

i look forward to sharing these with my granddaughter as she gets older.
