THE ROAD IS OUR AGONY, BUT ALSO OUR DAILY BREAD - - - a series of memorable and forgettable rants, ramblings, and stories from the road. . .

Should I even ask if you have an official participant wristband or do I already know the answer.

This is how we handle 211s (unregistered riders) here in the RAGBRAI. officehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-0BVT4cqGY

by the way, are we getting ANYthing done today?
You bet. I produced a blog, an animated cartoon, one of them old fashioned newspaper type cartoons and lots of youtubin'. That first video was a stroke of genius that just had to be answered.

;-))
blogging duel at 40 paces, perhaps?
i am so jazzed about this ragby; helps that i missed last year, but bringing the grandkid will be a trip, as well as all the other nonsense that comes with the turf.
but i do [blush] appreciate the acknowledgement!
it was good. smoke 'em if ya got 'em.
This definitely sharpens the rhetorical reflexes. By the way, bringing a 4 year old on RAGBRAI is tantamount to child abuse. I should know as I brought my youngest on the ride starting when she was 3. Of course she is in therapy now and blames it all on being subjected to ungodly heat and the images of thousands of adults unaturally dressed in overstretched lycra.

my granddaughter attended her first ncaa wrestling finals in utero, as did her almost year-old brother.
she feels--as do i--that lycra is the true epidermis.
my challenge with both of them is to make them realize that the chamois is more highly valued by society than the cauliflower ear [both admittedly quite low by societal standards].
