interesting

i received my used copy of this book from an online bookseller yesterday.

it is co-authored by peggy maass hill,

the woman whose old track bike i recently acquired.

peggy was a bronze medalist in the 3000m pursuit at the 1985 worlds,

eighth in the points race at the 1988 worlds,

and fifth in the 50km team time trial at the 1989 worlds.

she was also 1986 us criterium champion,

and 1988 us kilo champion.

the book carries this inscription inside the cover:
